Well: I followed advice and the 'instructions'. I had to access my blog page, then templates. I looked at some colours and then applied which design/colour that I liked! I applied this as 'customise' and - don't ask me how = changed it with a background of books. Seemed to work and as they: White Mans Majic! So I probably could not repeat this 'experiment' in applying 'blog technology' and I'll leave it there. Have a nice day :-)
